The Lagoon Nebula - M8 |
|
The number 8 of the Messier catalog the Lagoon Nebula is an emission nebulosity area located in the Sagittarius constellation. Associated with the M8 is the young open cluster NGC 6530. On the left of the picture the complex emission and reflection nebula NGC 6559 , IC 1274-75 , IC 4685. At the bottom center of the image the globular cluster NGC 6544. |
